Why We Focus on Relationship-Driven Consulting

Today’s economy demands quick innovation and continued technology iteration in order to keep up with rapidly changing business goals and customer demands. That demand led to the creation of a whole new marketplace of professional services and support of the technology side of a business. Technology and software are only catalysts to solutions and success though, which is where a tech support agency often falls short. At Bluewolf, we saw a need over the years to support our clients from both the technology side of things as well as through the development of their strategic approaches to their business goals beyond the go live of a new system. That’s how our tech services team specifically focused on serving clients post go-live with Salesforce, Bluewolf Beyond, was born.

Redefining Partnerships
We created Bluewolf Beyond to help our clients achieve long-term value from their Salesforce investments by supporting continuous iteration on the platform. When asked to identify what’s different about the Beyond team, my first answer is to identify the way we focus on relationship-driven consulting. When we work with our clients, the most important thing is to  build lasting trust and integrate into their internal team. Our teams spend a lot of time with clients over the phone or face to face, and keep in touch with them through regular weekly status calls and strategic quarterly planning sessions. These meetings allow us to communicate and collaborate around workstreams in progress, flag problems, backlog important information, and continually innovate to stay on top of their goals. Partnering with Bluewolf Beyond is unique because of our focus on maintaining a high level of trust, transparency, and collaboration to drive a successful relationship.

End-to-End Service
Aside from fostering strong relationships, Beyond’s job is to always be mindful of the bigger picture of our client’s goals and how the work we are doing on their Salesforce instance factors into achievement of those goals. This approach allows us to maintain a holistic view of our client’s business and aid in recommending best practices, innovative ideas, and execute on valuable projects. Thanks to the flexible makeup of our Beyond engagements, we can leverage different team members depending on the needs of the project. If our clients need someone to focus on UI/UX redesign, sales process optimization, or a complex integration, we can pull an expert onto the team to help. The support that comes from the larger Beyond team allows us to pool our knowledge from multiple areas of expertise into each individual engagement.

Innovation in Action
One of the best parts of being a member of this team is the opportunity to see my clients’ business transformation in action. Three years ago, we kicked off a new client engagement by building a custom iPad app to generate leads, capture customer follow up, and distribute over $6 million in rebates during their annual trade show. After building and launching the app, members of our team attended the tradeshow in order to provide technical support and training on the use of the app. That year, we hosted the app for about 20 users in four “booth” areas of the show. We’ve continued to iterate on this app and this year, three years later, it was used by over 100 users at 16 booths. My attendance at these trade shows gives me the chance to observe and speak with many employees as well as my client’s customers on their experience and feedback on the functionalities in the app, which we are able to leverage for future enhancements. The familiarity I have with my client’s people, processes, products, and goals allows me to go above and beyond to ensure their customers are happy. By focusing on the customer experience for both our clients and their customers, we’re able to provide remarkable project support, which is what I love about this team.
