Join Bluewolf, an IBM Company, for an exclusive cocktail hour where technology and art intertwine. Enjoy local appetizers and drinks at our office overlooking Madison Square Park while getting the first look at our new artwork. Stunning views combine with dramatic installations to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience. 

The Bluewolf Art Scholarship supports student artists at Parsons School of Design. The evening's exhibition opening will showcase the work of Cali Kurlan and Luma Jasim at our New York Headquarters.

Speakers

Cali Kurlan

Cali D. Kurlan (b. 1993, New York) continues to live and work in New York City. She earned a BFA in Studio Art from NYU (’15) and is currently pursuing her MFA in Fine Arts at Parsons School of Design (’17). Kurlan has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including: the Katonah Museum of Arts, New York (2011) and Currency Exchange at the Berlinische Galerie, Germany (2013), and has publicly displayed her work, www.chairsinstallation.com, in the Flatiron District, New York (2016).

Luma Jasim

Luma Jasim is an interdisciplinary artist from Baghdad, Iraq and currently resides in New York City. She earned an MA in graphic design from Baghdad University ('00) and a second BFA with an emphasis on painting and drawing from Boise State ('13). Jasim's art deals with war, violence, and her experience with immigration. Her work has been exhibited in Baghdad, Istanbul, Japan, New York, Arizona, and Idaho, including the juried exhibition "Painting in the World: Reflections on Politics, Violence, and Reconciliation."
