Dreamforce 2012 is barely two months away, and participants in the heat of preparations should be asking themselves what this year’s event might mean. This year’s topic is Touch the Social Enterprise. But, what exactly should we expect? The buzz-phrase has recently been heavily circulating the tech and consulting worlds, and businesses that don’t have at least a conceptual understanding of what the phrase means are falling behind (and should contact Bluewolf).
A real Social Enterprise by today’s definition is one that has revolutionized communication internally and externally. The social cloud has allowed these businesses to leverage innovative forms of collaboration to maximize knowledge sharing and productivity, and to connect with their customers in new and powerful ways.
Last year's Dreamforce was about defining the Social Enterprise. This year is about seeing it in action as more and more businesses are going social as cost advantage and demographic transition imperatives rise. Other hot topics at Dreamforce '12 will be the marketing cloud and mobile (just look at salesforce.com’s latest platform release).
Since cloud computing is so dynamic, though, breakout sessions will depend on the subtler flavors of the industry. That’s why we want our community to inform our sessions at Dreamforce. We’re letting YOU decide. Read about the contenders and vote below.
