Cloud Computing Services Provider Raises Funds for Computer Aid’s Zambia Project
London, April 26, 2010 – The Bluewolf UK (http://www.bluewolf.com/) team will be biking 300 KM in three days, from London to Paris, to raise money to send refurbished computers to Macha, Zambia. Bluewolf is a leading agile business consulting firm with expertise in implementing cloud computing servicesand SaaS solutions that focus on helping enterprise organizations achieve agile business transformation.
From individual sponsors along with Xactly, ExactTarget, Appextremes and Echosign, Bluewolf has now raised more than £6,000 for the bike ride -- all of which will go directly towards funding an innovative project in the community of Macha in rural Zambia, through Computer Aid International (http://www.computeraid.org/). The ComputerAid London to Paris bike ride takes place May 7-10.
“Working with computers everyday, we wanted to help Computer Aid in its work to provide refurbished computers to schools, hospitals, charities and the disabled in some of the remotest areas of the world,” said Penny O’Rourke, Managing Director, Bluewolf International. “From education to assisting community doctors, these computers can have a massive impact on these communities. We would really like to thank our sponsors - large and small for their support and encouragement.”
