February 27, 2012
On Tuesday, February 28th, the UK’s largest and long running marketing conference and trade show, TFM&A, opens its doors to over 12,000 marketers from across Europe.
The education program is endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), which means that current and would-be Chartered Marketers flock to Earl’s Court to spend a day immersed in some impressive content featuring Google, Yahoo, O2 Media, and ebay - with the 9 theatres running over the two days.
It’s all about the ‘S’ word.
Expect the hottest topic this year to be about social. Social enterprises collaborating inside and out, social media (expect a lot of noise about social monitoring tools like Salesforce’s Radian6), and even the emergence of social commerce.
I’m excited also to see the array of technologies on display that really do get more impressive by the day. Today’s technology provides marketers the opportunity to scale the value they add to their business like never before.
The flip-side of course is that with so much out there, how do you know what solutions will get you closer to your customers and align with and help you to exceed in your business and marketing goals? It’s one of the reasons we make it our mission to help our customers make the right choices.
