Challenge

Citysearch needed to upgrade their Salesforce instance to account for company growth and changes to its business structure. Their goals included upgrading from Salesforce Professional to Salesforce Enterprise Edition; re-deploying sales force automation (SFA) for 200+ sales professionals; improving the overall data quality and ability for Citysearch to forecast and track sales; and tracking and reporting on all associated sales activity by channel.

Solution

Bluewolf’s blueprinting process, implementation and train-the-trainer services allowed Citysearch to move from contract sign to go-live in 5 months. Additionally, a new process was implemented for tracking accounts, contacts and opportunities and viewing activity by brand, company and/or agency.

Results

Citysearch has seen improvement in employee productivity, user adoption, and overall data quality. Sales forecasts are improved - now 100% accurate. Furthermore, sales management productivity has improved by 20% (8 hours/week), and customer service and selling has improved - Citysearch can now accurately measure and track effectiveness of advertising products and overall product mix.
