Bluewolf is proud to announce the release of this year’s The State of Salesforce Report. Based on over 110,000 data points collected from more than 1,700 Salesforce customers, this is our biggest report ever—with over 50 pages of insights on how the best companies are getting the most out of Salesforce now. Here’s a sneak peek at the top three trends from this year’s report, and how you can get ahead of the curve in 2017.
Trend 1: Companies are ready for intelligent applications.
Whether anticipating the next best opportunities for Sales or helping marketers automatically nurture the next batch of leads, the best companies are finding ways to leverage more intelligent applications within Salesforce. Over 50% of all companies surveyed described their most essential applications as intelligent, able to anticipate and take or suggest the next action. The best companies are focused on translating overwhelming collections of data into intuitive, automated employee experiences that, in turn, can power incredible customer moments.
Trend 2: User experience is more than mobile.
The best companies are investing in making Salesforce easier to use by considering their users’ routines and ensuring that they can do their jobs anywhere, anytime, on any device. To do this, integration—whether of platforms, applications, channels, or data—is key to improving both the employee and customer experience, and increasing Salesforce’s business value. Companies that have integrated or have plans to integrate clouds are more likely to think Salesforce’s overall value has increased in the past 12 months than those that haven’t integrated.
Trend 3: Imperfect data isn’t slowing innovation.
Companies are realizing the benefits of continuous innovation and taking action with the data they have now, finding new ways to effectively use data within Salesforce. 65% are investing in making their analytics more actionable, enabling them to integrate insights directly into Salesforce for higher quality data and more intelligent applications.
