In response to the growing talent gap of technical skills training, an initiative we’re particularly passionate about is creating equal job opportunities in the tech community. One of the biggest scarcities in the cloud is the ready supply of Salesforce-certified professionals: administrators, developers, and business analysts.

We have partnered with VetForce to help U.S. veterans gain Salesforce training, certification, and related employment. While thousands of honorably discharged veterans transition from the military each month, many lack the training and network to identify the best available opportunities in the civilian world. 

This week, from August 12-14 at Salesforce headquarters in San Francisco, Bluewolf’s senior technical instructor, Mark Forman, will lead several in-person Admin training sessions for nearly 20 veterans. Leaning on more than 15 years of cloud expertise, Bluewolf has innate capabilities to help veterans grow their technical skills and confidence to succeed in today’s cloud technology environment. And as a Salesforce Global Strategic Partner, Bluewolf can specifically help bridge the talent gap in the Salesforce ecosystem. 

The training is co-sponsored by VetsinTech, which supports current and returning veterans with re-integration services and connects them to the national technology ecosystem. ViT has also devoted its time to locate and register interested veterans for the training sessions.

Businesses need to continually redefine talent to better compete and scale. You don’t need graduates from MIT to create a tech powerhouse in your organization. Widen your talent search to include candidates with diverse skills, as well as professional and life experiences, that can contribute to higher levels of employee engagement to truly inspire great ideas in your organization.
