Bluewolf Hosts Blood Drive at Customer Company Tour for World Blood Donor Day

June 3, 2013

Salesforce.com’s Customer Company Tour is all about “connecting with your customers in a whole new way.” At Bluewolf, we believe that to connect in this new way, companies need to become “customer-obsessed.” That means you need to get personal and understand your customers as people, not transactions. You need to spend time “walking in their shoes.” It’s not just about knowing your customers, but knowing your customers’ customers.

As part of our commitment to customer obsession, Bluewolf will get personal with the work of one of our clients, the American Red Cross, by hosting a blood drive at salesforce.com’s Customer Company Tour in New York City on Friday, June 14th. This date coincides with World Blood Donor Day and is an excellent opportunity for the salesforce.com community to support the life-saving work of American Red Cross. It is also the 10th anniversary of World Blood Donor Day, which serves to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products and to thank voluntary unpaid blood donors for their life-saving gifts of blood.

  • Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood.
  • More than 44,000 blood donations are needed every day.
  • A single unit of donated blood can save up to three lives.

If you will be attending Customer Company Tour in New York City on June 14th, register now to make a difference by donating at the Bluewolf blood drive on World Blood Donor Day.
