“Demystifying Customer Journey Marketing” Keynote Focuses on Digital Marketing Strategies that Drive Customer Engagement

New York and San Francisco – April 15, 2015 – Bluewolf, a global business consulting firm, today announced that its CEO, Eric Berridge, and its Global Chief Marketing Officer, Corinne Sklar, will deliver the opening keynote presentation at the CMO Summit U.S. on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in San Francisco, California. Held at the Hotel Kabuki, the CMO Summit U.S. is a two-day event that will bring together CMOs and leading marketing executives from various industries to discuss current issues, industry challenges, and technology solutions, and gain actionable insight for key marketing segments.

Berridge and Sklar will be speaking on “Demystifying Customer Journey Marketing”, focusing on developing digital marketing strategies that delivers a consistent and scalable customer experience for brands, regardless of the channel. Attendees will learn the three pillars needed to begin their own customer journey marketing, why marketers need to fall in love with data, not technology, and the importance of messaging strategies and storytelling for B2B and B2C.

“Marketers often make the mistake of falling in love with technology, but forget it only gets them part of the way,” said Sklar. “Companies need to unlock their customer data, across all systems, and go beyond automating customers and providing a single view of customers. Each touch point a customer has with an organization has to be very customized, personal, or anticipated to that customer’s unique expectations. It needs to feel personal — like a brand really knows you.”

Additionally, Sklar will be leading a roundtable on “Sales and Marketing Alignment — State of the Union” with Bluewolf’s Chief of Staff, Jolene Chan, on Thursday, April 16, 2015.

The roundtable dives deep into the frustrations of sales not following up on leads, even though an integrated funnel and world-class marketing content are in place. Sklar and Chan will walk through how Bluewolf customers tackle this challenge with creative and unexpected solutions, and why the answer lies in people, process, and technology. Attendees will learn how to drive a single demand generation funnel of the customer, areas where companies are succeeding and failing, and what technologies are supporting sales and marketing transformation.
